Mmmm Porsche, I think they named the band Lagwagon after a 930 Turbo. Mind you, there's a decent number of RUF and Gemballa Porkers getting around in Nippon and they're worth the hassle!

I actually priced importing either an E30 M3 or E34 M5 BMWs but the LHD conversion on them put it into silly money. I'd only look at LHD Euros if they were rare (Alpina, Brabus, etc)

why are they so expensive? what makes porshe engines different to other engines? ( i dont mean your average 6 cyl )

Nothing makes them particularly expensive from a design point of view, at least the older Porsches -- indeed, the very early Porsches just used VW mechanicals -- but the fact that they are rare and that Porsche is a premium brand ensures that prices stay high.

But labour will be the real killer. Its not like you can just wander down to the local Holden garage and have them service your Porsche. You will need a Porsche specialist, and usually that means big bucks.

LW.

So what classes a Porcshe as "Hectic"?

Wheels, paintjob, "system" & exhaust?

custom turbo, alluminium custon cooler, resprayed baby blue, carbon fibre dash and seats, full leather interior with custom system, 19in wheels with 330 wheels on the back. looks excellnt and goes even beter, or did go until he smashed it

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
