Marie :action-smiley-069:

Possibility I might not be able to come tomorrow due to work.

Will keep you guys updated. Will try to get as much work done as possible today.

Push comes to shove I'll be coming later than usual...

I'll be there, usual time around 7pm (read: 8pm)

I'm bringing limited tools for the lights and a drop mat, dont think I'll have a chance to get mine in before then anyway.

Bigsky, Im looking at you as the reseident expert! :D

Ah yes, I can help! It's all easy just tedious. Don't forget to bring some masketing tape. My headlights won't be installed as yet, trying to figure out the HID stuff...

Bigs, how long do you think to complete the install (no issues of course)?

I should really check my wiring too, based on your post in the lights thread, would hate to get the old lights out (in the dark, cold and far from home) only to then realise I have to do it all up and start again later...

So, depending on how bold I feel after checking the wiring, I'm bringing:

- Lights (duh)

- Socket set (incl 10mm + extension)

- Screwdrivers/misc tools

- Drop sheet/rubber matting

- Lighting

- Masking tape

I'm out for tonight ladies and gents. however I'm free next weekend and will be itching to go for a drive somewhere on saturday. So you guys can discuss that tonight and let me know =D if not hopefully by the end of this month I'll have done something else to my car to make up for the fact that I no longer have an exhaust =(

It was a good meetup...hope you all had fun.....good run down the Princes Highway as well..Tony, we left you and Anna at the Eastlink exit...hope you guys didn't go too far down the Princes Highway...

Josh/Marie,

This is what you missed:

1) Return of the Interfooler - Better than ever, paint job all done.

2) Visit by our cousin Zeds, led by Majestik in his matte black vinyl wraped 370z with Amuse body kit

3) The Stanceworks guys came in later - First time I've every seen a Mitsubishi Triton truck in the garage cafe with camber - Took up so much space Andrew couldn't get working on his lights.

4) Decoding of what options your Vs came with - I brought the document from Nissan FAST but it was in Japanese so Opal had a good time translating stuff. 8IgSKy apparently had heated seats when it was manufactured but somewhere along the line, someone removed them. (I'll post this up soon)

5) Guest appearance by Brian (G35me) in his H8TAX R35 GTR

6) As usual, we had our Princes Highway cruise back. Thanks for joining us 8IgSKy and Interfooler, even though home was the opposite direction. And Josh, I got Opal at the lights this time for you....[she is probably going to dispute this or claim that she was distracted etc....] :P

Until the next meet, keep safe guys.

(ps. I'll set up an EOI thread on a cruise next weekend (weather permitting))

YAY! It's done, headlights installed! Damn unplugging the headlights were a bitch! Dreadnought it took me 4 hours this time, took a while to unplugged the harness from the old headlights. Annoying with the tight space and undoing the bolts of the front bar underneath the headlights, holding the wheel guard plastic back.

How y'all doing with the install?

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
