Thats the weird thing, i got done for 58kph over, lost the same amount of demerits and copped the same fine.

the cop that pulled me over said that between 40 and 59 kph over it is their call, but 60 and over is automatic criminal offence, court appearance blah blah blah.

This guy did 64 over and got away with a fine and stuff.

either the law has changed or he has got a purdy mouth. if you know what i mean...

Don't trust the media to get the speed right. I lost my license when I was 18

The news made out I was going way faster than what I actually was booked for

Also if the radar reading is dubious or any doubt about the accuracy the police will often do the next bracket down so it doesn't get taken to court

Generally the offending driver will agree to the lower fine and non loss of licence. Instead of taking the risk of a 12 months suspension

    • And now the washer bottle looks like an orphan. You're going to have to spend money on a wrinkle black painted fabbed ally one of those. Oh, and the brake MC res. That won't look any good after you've gotten rid of the washer bottle. You going to need to go back to work to keep up with this?
    • You're going to need all that and more to keep them from rubbing at the rear anyway, is my guess.
    • Looking at it now the battery clamp needs some love..  LOL One day, but not tomorrow, tomorrow I'm strictly a spectator, the only testing for me tomorrow will be on the coffee and food at the Cafe
    • I purchased some (used but new to me) Yokohama A050 Mediums to try out for the first time and fitted them up to one of my sets of Rays TE Fortesst's. Sizes are 235/45R17 front and 255/40R17 rear. They are very chonky compared to the same sized AD09 on the same sized rim. Some fiddling will be needed to make them fit. How much camber do these like as a general rule? I imagine more than the rear camber of -1.5' I typically run. So my plan is to target -3.8 front and -2 rear
