just to let everyone know my mobile phone n money was stolen at a nightclub tonight while i was trying to help mels cousin out.

So if your trying to contact me on mobile ...... it appears they've already switched it off which is good news cos i have a really hard pin code on there..... and the phone is american so needs a special recharger ...... but anyway the point of this thread is basically my stuff is gone ...... so if i had your mobile number before please PM me it again so i can reprogram my new phone when n if i get one.... cos im not likely to be getting this one back

barsteds! but it couldve been worse ..... they couldve taken my whole bag which had the only set of car keys i have.

Cheers

Lauren

P.S - happy 21st to me :)

basically i took my eyes off my bag for 5 mins cos megan was vomiting everywhere ..... charming i know ..... and my bag was gone. I told the bouncer who was really helpful and my bag eventually got returned minus money n mobile phone ..... money i dont care about i mean $40 .... so they get a couple of drinks .... mobile phone belongs to my parents business which i feel really bad about cos its not mine to loose plus ive got a whole heap of numbers in there of contacts ive built up over the years so anyway its my own bloody fault at the end of the day.

i know this is a car related forum but i had a lot of SAU numbers in there so if you could PM me your number be great.

bah, that suks.

I work at a high school, kids tried to take my mobile once, they had it for 1/2 a day while i played investigator (which wasnt so hard becuase they were the only kids to come in my office). I ended up finding them, just catching them gave them a lesson because they would get there ass badly kicked. They were so scared they wont even look at me anymore.

Thank god for phone's that can back up 150+ numbers to your PC w/ Infrared.

and thank god for pin codes/phone locks.

Don't forget to register it's lost with the phone company properly, and get them to block the IMEI number, so the thieving bastards at least can't use it anymore!

    • From the factory on RB26s there's a fitting on the intake manifold collector/"plenum" that provides pre-throttle boost signal. That's how they did it back in the day, I figure it's fine to replicate it.
    • I would be surprised if that wasn't the issue. It's probably telling you, that even if you remove the plastic liner, you may have some other clearance issues that may occur too in some scenarios. IE, tyre to guard. It looks like someone has already rolled the lip, but you may still have issues in the future IE, turning and hitting a bump etc. The fact it changes how bad it makes the noise when you are going backward vs forward is highly indicative that it's the tyre rubbing. They do make a terrible sound, even if you're only pushing a project car that has a liner hanging down on a tyre!   Has the car been lowered? If it has been, what is the measurement from the centre of the wheel hub to the lip of the guard straight up?

    • But if you had to go bury a body in the forest, would you not put that in the boot? Most of them are >=90kg these days.
