Hi,

I bought a Apexi pod filter from a fellow user and have finally come to putting it in the car.

Only thing is it doesn't fit onto the current adaptor, so i bought another adaptor from super cheap for a R32 and it doesn't fit that either. :verymad:

1.Can anyone tell me why it doesn't fit onto the adaptor? Entry hole of pod is ever so slightly smaller than adaptor.

2. What's the answer to making it fit?

Cheers ladies n gents.

Simon.

It's a Gts-t.

My mate said the same thing to just bolt pod direct to afm. I was thinking it wouldn't get such a good seal between pod & afm?

I'll give it a go and see how we go then.

Thanks for the posts gents.

That's what the blue gasket is for which is provided when you buy them new.

I'm just trying to think of an adapter that would seal better than just bolting it to the afm? Doesn't make sense to me, you have to bolt it to something, if you don't have a gasket then it isn't going to seal. If you do have a gasket then just bolt it to the afm, why wouldn't it seal?

It appears that you have bought an apexi pod and adaptor for a GTR (which uses 65mm afm's) as opposed to your 80mm GTS-T unit, hence it wont fit to the adaptor.

Try bolt it straight onto the pod as a few of the other guys have said
