Are you talking about the boot for the Rear CV?

Might be better off taking it to a driveline specialist. The CV boots you'll need to get from there anyway, and there held on with metal zip ties and you need a special tool to pull them tight enough usually.

Yeah rear cv,just thought it would be a lot cheaper to do myself...eg buy boot and grease and then only my time...have done brakes turbo shocks so have some mechanical knowledge just wanted to know which direction to go before I pull it ALL apart,especially if not necessary. I have one front and one rear leaking grease
