Weight saving of 70 grams

What are you talking about that 70g should take at least .5 of a second off a track time

Hahahaha.

If you think about it, weight reduction is the CHEAPEST way, to improve power to weight ratio.

E.g. Stock S15 = 147kw/1200kg = 0.1225kw at flywheel per kg of weight

now if I was to delete 150kg out of the car....then this is what would happen

147kw/1050kg = 0.14kw at flywheel per kg of weight

To put it in perspective

I'd need to be making 168kw at the flywheel to achieve a power to weight ratio of 0.14kw/kg with a 1200kg S15

Thus!!!

168-147kw = Equivilent of 21kw gain
