Hey guys,my sparkies need changing,

can any one tell me a shop who won't charge an arm an a leg to do it.

Oh some where fairly close to fingal bay woul be good. :action-smiley-069:

I should be able to help you with them and am only in Raymond Terrace.... We are all flat out trying to get ready for the cruise but should be able I help you out one night.... Send me a PM and we will sort it out :)

Went into bowers suspension to get some prices on coilovers and the told me they were fitting some bc's onto a yellow 34 gtr which im guessing is you.

Let me know how they go for you, im looking at getting the same ones fitted. Did they fit any other suspension components like bushing etc?.

Yea mate that was me...

Really happy with them, and the service was excellent.. Price was fair I thought also.

Have seen you around a few times, love the pearl white!

I could take you for a run in mine sometime if your keen, and could check it out if your coming to the cruise on Sunday?

Ant nice result with the suspension

Wedge. Any other day I'd be able to give you a hand but am putting a garden shed together for Dad then taking Melisa out

And don't think I've seen the white GTR around but The more 34's the better for the cruise

+1^^^^^^^^^

Or next Saturday I'll be there doing brakes so can help with plugs as well

Cheers, I'm not to keen on night driving, wild life an unfamiliar area.

Could you pm me a time and addy please, and i'll see you boys with a case of your fav tipple.

Genelle.

Chookie, don't go to low or handling will be negatively affected by things such as bump steer and so on.

Ideally, you want your control arms to remain a bit above the parallel point, and you dont want to go below the parallel point.

When my S13 was lowered my control arms were still sitting a pooftenth above parallel....it got dropped 38mm in the front and 28mm in the rear.

looks great ant but why is there a big yellow car infront of it, you werent pointing at the car very well :)

btw, fitting my oil cooler and the bastard doesnt fit, the sandwich plate is missing something so hopefully i can source something by the weekend!!!

ok i need the gold threaded thing (i thought that was a nipple but it may be called a gland? idk.), it screws onto the thread your filter screws on and then filter then screws on it, like an extension. female to male

i should be able to steal something from work but there all for air, just wondering if itd make a difference? they look the same.

anyone know anywhere that would have that kinda thing? is there an... engine place around here? lol

im gunna try super cheap and autobarn etc but not sure how thatll go.

    • You put the driver's seat on the wrong side! Incredible detail on all of this. It looks like you could learn a lot about the car just from assembling the kit.
    • I made a mistake today. I had a spot I fixed, and used guide coat and I kept sanding until it went away and it did (sort of),  the guide coat was still there if I used wax and grease remover but was gone if I just blew the dust off. I ended up removing all of the filler and can feel a dip lol. The weird thing was I could still feel something after removing the guidecoat when the filler was there.  Is the proper way to check that all guide coat has been removed is to use the wax and grease remover or is just dusting it off fine?
    • Issues 11 - 21 Finally got around to building a growing pile of weekly issues/parts and taking some photos. I did a bit of detail painting focusing on the fuel rail and injectors... these were originally all black plastic and looked quite unrealistic compared to the other parts. Also used some Tamiya panel line accent colour to give the whole cylinder head and surrounding parts a slightly weathered 'just run in' look to it. I've been following another Japanese guy's build and he's done the same more or less.  Also got a 1/8th scale number plate set to replace the GT-R Nismo plates that came with the kit, to go together with the 'just run in' theme.
    • Quick update, finally got an hour or two on a weekend where there wasn't shit weather, no sick kids, people visiting our house or had to work. Visited me old folks and the skyline...dropped  $10 of 98 in the tank and a brand new SCA shitter battery in. Cranked over a bunch of times but didn't fire up....pretty sure it's not getting any fuel. Gonna try some of the stuff suggested above, next time I make it over there.
