yea thats what ive heard, my tuners swear that the airbox's cant make more than 300awkw or something? didnt like me putting them back in over the pods i had in there.. but i had heard many stories of them going near the 400awkw mark so i dont know..

I think you can modify the stock box to suck air from the fender, there is a hole and abit that sticks into the guard, you just need to cut the hole in the box from memory.. will look into this at the next stage though. not sure if you did this joel?

ive been assured they don't become a restriction to ~400kw

I'll soon see :-)

Adam, ive sent a msg to paul asking for the price. i'll let you know.

My box has this in it stock, has a vent on the side with an induction pipe into the fender also

can you take a few photos. Thatt don't sound stock. (the vent is and the hole in the fender is there for a seperate reason).

whats the duct going to the fender for? i was just assuming, having not looked into this too much, only heard that you can cut a hole somewhere that opens them up a little? assumed it was that section but not sure if there was a hole in already there etc?...

Yeh np ill take a few pics, i could be wrong maybe it holds it in place but i sware it has a vent on the side as i just took it out 30min ago, there is deffs something on the side of the airbox to.

Sorry to report, thats looks all stock. You had me excited for a mod for a while.

That thing that goes into the fender is a little resonator, it can be removed for greater airflow.

You could make a pipe from that in the fender and run it down to the front bar or into the wheel well

    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
