So while I was cleaning my car today, I noticed that my car was keyed on the bonnet. Not as bad to the metal, but was quite deep. I've only had my car for less than a month and it's been keyed. I feel the fire growing inside me.

Can someone take a look at the pictures and tell me if I can get them out or would I be having a rage everytime I look at my bonnet?

So many retarded kunce nowadays.

My dad's car got keyed recently too, though he drives a Prado.

I understand why jelly haters would key a skyline, but a prado? Dafuq??

They must be too bored. Getting cameras in car and CCTV for my house now. have had enough of this bs.

After rectifying the bonnet, do you have a fully enclosed garage?

Yeah I do, but it's being used as storage at the moment. Won't be cleared until another year. Currently just parking it out on my front yard since its concreted. Getting new slat fence soon so it should be more discreet.

ditch the shite out of the garage and get your car in there...that is their purpose :(

does suck man...piss off some neighbours? or did this not happen at home?

I don't think my neighbors are like that. my neighbors are both old and don't think there the type going around keying cars. Although there is these guys across my house that seems to look as if they work on cars but I highly doubt it was them. I use my car as a daily A-B and could of happen anyware. Have been parking it at Citigate in Haymarket which tends to be full of uni students.

Probably unprovoked, had my car egged within the first 24 hours of owning it lol.

Most likely unprovoked. Although one person did pop in my mind that might have of done this (same immature rat that egged my house twice from school). He's always been very competitive with me during high school days about the things we'd do, girls we talk to and what we have. I know he was jelly when he found out from my mate that i was getting a R34. But this goes way back into 2009. Although he did egg my house year and half after the immature rat.

hey man, depending on your location there are some small companies that specialise in this sort of repair, small dings/deep scratches ect. Also turtle do a wash and was in about 5 colours they come with a crayon like pen that is suppose to blend in and hide these marks. http://ak.buy.com/PI/0/500/226688663.jpg http://icedotcomexpr...lor%20magic.jpg

I got my R33 S2 on thursday night by saturday night already had been hit i was lucky enough to be able to buff it out.

Good luck

These specialists have any specific name?

Thanks Pat but those guys are in QLD. I'm in Sydney. I found some guys who do paint repairs via Google by searching "paint repairs" after visiting that site. Will give them a try tomorrow.

What will happen is that once the stock ECU sees more airflow than it expects it will add a heap of fuel and pull a heap of timing to be safe because it can't understand how it could get that much air without there being an issue. You will see clouds of black smoke and it won't pull hard through the midrange and top end. So, overall it will be a bit frustrating but should be OK. If you are still nervous set the base timing back 2o through the CAS, but it will be even more sluggish everywhere. As said above through...this is not my guarantee your engine won't be blown into a million pieces, leaving you looking for very hard to find parts A better idea is get a computer with logging ASAP, wire in a wide band O2 sensor and a use remote tuner. I've done multiple cars this way and while it is not as good as a specific tune on a dyno they can get it 90% right. I'd suggest if you can afford an R33 GTR these days you can afford an ECU and tune. And if you can't afford that you sure won't be able to afford the rebuild if it goes bad in the meantime,.
    • Yeah it would be nice if someone took the time to put that sort of information together, but there are a lot of variations in looms. I think you are making this way hard for yourself if you just want to get it running....sourcing an SR20 with the right wiring will be a billion times easier than matching the RB loom to an S15 chassis. If you do end up going this way, you just need to trace every wire in the loom with a multimeter, 95% of them will go to a location you can confirm at the ECU.....and then post it up for the next person who needs it
    • Just top it up with water, and keep a general idea of how much you added. It is normal for water to be pushed into and pulled out of the reservoir through the cap, and it should not be more than half full or it will be likely to overflow when hot. Any decent mechanic can do a pressure test of the cooling system to confirm if you have a leak. Keep in mind if it is only leaking a little and when hot it may well evaporate before you see it hit the ground
    • I'd ask the shop what they used and use that. Mixing coolants is sometimes OK, sometimes not, and you have know the details of each coolant to know whether it's a good idea or not.
    • Is it alright to top up with just another green coolant?
