Hi Everyone,

I am putting up a post to see if anyone is interested in buying my Original R34 GTR Rims.

-Quantity:A complete set (4) of R34 GTR Original Rims with aftermarket Gloss Back Powder Coat (Rims were polished prior to power coating). These rims are factory forged.

-Condition: Rims are in tip top shape (very minute stone chip marks caused by nature).

-Tyre: Rims are wrapped in 245/45/R18 Bridgestone Potenza Adrenaline RE0050A - These tyres are NOT cheap in the market. Tyre's still have plenty of thread + grip (75% atleast). These tyres are sticky!

-Offer: Offer is available to people who have money. I have not put up a price yet (on purpose).

-Picture? Yes, Attached (more available on request).

- Contact: Faiz, via PM

Proposed sale price: $3.3K firm

It INCLUDES tyres + rims (not keen on selling seperately)

These are ultra-high performance tyres with 98 or 100 "V" from memory with extremely high/good speed rating.

Btw, $50 to $100 knocked off the price (from the $3.3K firm) for ANYONE interested, vwhereby they provide/give/trade me an original black "right" side grill that mounts on the right hand side (looking straight on) of the R34 GTR front bar

  • 2 months later...
  • 2 weeks later...

I am looking to buy a set of TE37's 2012 SL Matte/Gloss Black Edition, 18 x 10.5 + 12 or 15 offset

Those arent cheap + whacking on 275/35/18 rubber isnt cheap aswell

If your a trader and keen to swap + cash your way, please advise also.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
