R34 Gt-T Rims On A S1 R33

Hi all,

just brought a set or r34 gt-t rims (minus tyres) ive done a dry fit onto my series 1 r33 gts-t. once fited there is very little room between the rim and the brake caliper (0.5-1mm) was wondering the best solution to this problem or if its a problem at all.

was thinking or a 3-5mm spacer (not keen as they're illegal) or have 2-3mm macined from the back of the rim. any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
