Sth East Subs - Fri 20/7 Or Sat 21/7 Cruise / Meet & Greet? Anyone Intersted?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone... :action-smiley-069:

Just wondering if anyone is interested in a Meet/Greet/Cruise this weekend sometime

Depending on interest for this I was going to see if we could work out a place to meet & greet

then have a cruise?

Starting maybe somewhere along Princess Hwy ? Suburbs could be Narre Warren / Pakenham / Cranbourne / Berwick / Dandenong / or even closer in towards the city? Day / Night, doesn't matter. Somewhere for us all to park would be ideal ofcourse :)

Unless there is something already on I don't know about. Would be great to know if anyone's interested?

Anyone know if something like this takes place already? Esp for newbies like me?

If anyone interested or has any suggestions, that'd be really appreciated.

Cheers

The two most popular meet up points are normally Monash Uni & Doncaster. You want to try and keep the meets in a sort of semi-central location for anyone travelling from the west/north.

I'll promote it on the SAU VIC facebook page to gain any interest.

Fanastic! Thank you blah blah. Monash Uni would be awesome but you're right..Central for everyone is great. Didn't know that. Hope other newbies like me can come too. :)

    • Yeah, I guess its pretty easy to get to if this doesn't work. Just wait till next oil change and pull it out. I am going to have to do the oil pan gasket soon and thought I'd just replace it while I was there.  Thanks
    • All that matters is you're safe and you were able to type that post. Hopefully heaps of parts you can recover for the next shell.
    • This thread keps giving with the OMG!
    • A quick google, and some E39 users have found pulling my sensor out/apart and cleaning it alleviates their issue. Then get the oil warning to go off, and once it is off (from the sensor saying it was unhappy) some find they can just unplug it and it is happy to just keep going now. Maybe give it a crack? If you can actually pull the sensor apart, hit it with some electrical contact cleaner.
    • Yep. In the E39 it's slightly different than the others. Honestly I'd just leave it but every time I drive the car it tells me oil is low and that just makes me check the dipstick. It is a BMW Afterall and it tries to expel it's own oil regularly.  Thankfully it's not like my E90 that has no dipstick at all so you just gotta trust it.
