Well just at a glance, compared to mine,

its got a body kit thats not mentioned in the ad,

Indicators on the guards, i dont have,

Wheres the import plate and build plate? they should be there on the firewall but there not. so it could be really dodgy.

Speedo numbers are wonky, so the k's are whatever, who knows.

Another indication of lots of kay's is the seats were replaced with unworn ones, and the gearshift and handbrake boots.

I bouhgt a 12 year old volvo with 200,000 kay's and the interior is like new, so.... heaps of stuff will need replacing on an old 32

How old are they now, 22 years? If theyre sht they are sht i know i got one.

A bit harsh i know but be careful.

Ps there all sht compared to sins 32, so he cant tell.

My GTR doesn't have indicators on the guards when others did.

I think some cars may have had them added when they came to the country.

As for seats and k's you never know what happens with these cars or what's been replaced it's really luck of the draw. Only thing you can do is get a mechanic or someone you can do to check it out and hope for the best really.

Thing is, they're at an age where if they haven't had things replaced they are shit. Even if they look pretty often they need a lot of work.

DIY Mick is spot on - Build and Import plates missing (Dodgey!!)

Speedo is aftermarket anyway. Add 40-60 thousand K's to the reading.

Side blinkers are at the discretion of the importer for compliance and local RTA during inspection.

Look for rust in and around the boot, lots of under body tar etc and like others have said, worn steering wheels, handbrake leather etc to indicate if kms are real.

Definently ask about the plate in the engine bay and compliance papers etc

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
