Josheh
Evening guys. Anyone bored and want to help me determine if my starter motor needs replacing? I lack the tools / knowledge for it. Looks pretty impossible to remove from the engine bay so i might have to try tackle it from underneath. Its super loose though so that may even be the cause of my car not kicking over but i'd say the starter motor needs to be replaced from trying to kick it over too many times. Anywho, i'm located in Jesmond. Let me know if anyone isn't busy and wants to help out a fellow skyline lover out! Cheers. mad082
if the starter motor is loose then that may be the cause of the issue as it may be pushing away from the flywheel. i'd start by tightening it up and then see what it does. they are a bit of a pain to get to, but not that bad. even just getting one of the bolts tight (and the other finger tight) should be enough to see if that is the issue Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/405809-noobie-help/#findComment-6464753 Share on other sites
