Hey, I've got my newly bought R33 gtst and i fitted a central locking kit so i could be a tad lazy. So now i have two problems one.. when i drive over 20 km/h the passengers door auto locks its self. Two if i lock the drivers door from the inside i can still lift the handle on the outside and unlock the door. any ideas? i can lock it with the key fine, just using the remote it won't lock.

I realize you have already bought the kit BUT a N15 Pulsar catch assembly BOLTS straight in and gives you a FACTORY actuator that will not cause the issues you are having.

the speed locking in a std feature in the early 33's

i don't think its a dodgy install, as i've done plenty before. i'll take some photos later to show you where it is. and n15 catch you say? got any more information for me? also some where to get one?

Sorry to bring up an old topic but I have had a few problems with my locking on the drivers side of my s1 33. I got a pulsar actuator and latch from eBay but it has a different plug to the skyline actuator so I had to go to a wreckers to source an n15 plug. Just making sure that If I cuttheold plug and solder the new one on I shouldn't have any troubles? The r33 actuator part is seized I think so I can still use the catch part from it.

I might pop in and say hi tomorrow morning if your going to be at the shop? I got the door fixed up but have a few other things to ask you about and need to drop that smic off anyway so might aswell :P

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
