Steering Wheel Air Bag

Does anyone know, when ya air bag engages, Do I need to get a new air bag sensor or module so I can change my wheel to another stock one....if I do nees to change module should thay make the airbag dash light go out....??

Or can I get away with a drift wheel??

What do you mean by air bag engages? Has it gone bang. You can put a resistor underneath the steering wheel. I have one in my car it tricks the air bag ecu into thinking its still has an air bag. That will stop the light coming on.

Yeh mate, air bag went bang!!! The module has a certain g force , , so now the light flashes at me, I spoke to Nissan and that , all they said is to replace module, which will be expensive, so I've opted a boss kit that pretty much by passes the air bag... ...

Find a 2nd hand module and airbag wheel.

All up should cost you around $250. Works out to be a better price than no airbag & defect.

I just happen to have the module for a series 2 that goes under the console.
