Mate from personal experience go the triple rotor, it sounds amazing and pulls like a freight train (and mine is running on low boost in a heavy fk'n Cosmo) you WON'T be dissapointed.

I know it's a Mazda mate and I love rotors don't get me wrong just trying to warm it up at 5am isn't the best haha, castle hill exhaust? Have they done the ls1 conversion? Mite give them a call disarve. I wanted to stay turbo but if all else fails I may have to do that, or I'm just gonna spend the 7k on my 13b hank!! Just wanted some thing different is all, but seems different is way to hard!

Who I the best rotor guru in qld?

hang on I thought you were in Sydney.

if you are in qld I can point you in the direction of engine conversion kings.

Single turbo 1GZ in to 1990 Merc 190E

Turbo 1UZ in to Low lux

VQ30det in to S15

2JZ single turbo in to E30 318i BMW

AMAuto at Noosa.

Get on it.

I got his number bro

Was talking to him today his a bit busy with the drift scene but should be able to fit you in or his mate Ryan can help

0408 257 613 just message him

Ask any racer, any real racer

Put the 26 in a old mustang. Dom and his boys have done it. Thing drifts awesome.

Dom is crazy! he lives his life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not his team and all their bullshit. For those ten seconds or less, his free.

You boys are cruel. :whistling:

Nismold im gonna try and stay with the turbo (don't want to turbo the ls1) I have a 05 bf gt so thats my v8 and after I get the engine in I want to make some nice HP. I know I can with a v8 but yeah really like the idea of a 6cyl turbo, a heap of people have a stab at me but I've wanted to do it for a whole so I'm gonna try :)

OIC - I thought you were going LS1 by your comments

All good :D

Gonna have to agree with a couple of the other blokes here regarding LS-into-FD. There's entire kits (and tutorials if you're keen on tackling it yourself) from the US that would be far cheaper than fabbing up components to make a 26 fit into the bay of a FD.

I'll be looking the way of a ls1(maybe turbo :) if the 26,and 2jz is wayyy to expensive I've allowed some $$ to do the mod so I'm not to worried about the cash side unless it's gonna cost over 10k then I'll be deffently going ls1 giving amauto a call now see what he reckons :). Fingers crossed

    • I've replaced the front brakes of my NA to 324 brembos and 350z calipers: i'm going for 225/40-18 up front and 245/35-18 in the back. I have Rays 7.5*19 ET35(225/35) in the front with 5mm spacers otherwise the calipers "lock up/ won't rotate". When i use the calculator i come up with 8*18 ET30 for 225/40...... but not sure i get problems with the calipers. Anyone riding around with 18 inch. that can confirm "that it'll fit"? In the back it's 7.5*9 ET30 (245/30) with the 5mm spacers, but there is no problem with the standard small brakes, so i want to take 8.5*18 ET25 (245/35).
    • Lol.. but then.. always come back to a JDM..
    • Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.
    • The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.
    • Welcome.  Here's what I have noticed about forum vs FB..... FB; seems to be wallet racing, and the same few questions asked over and over. There *may* be some groups that are closer knit, but most have changed for the worse. SAU; unfortunately, no longer in its glory days. But....genuine people with similar interests. Not all about how much you spent and saying you dont have enough power. Sooooooo much knowledge available. Have personally seen people post up about literally topics I made myself, asking on FB like no one has done it before. Most has been done, and most of that is here.   If you ever feel like just general chatting theres the wasteland.  Other interests are also generally covered in other areas of the forum. Hope you enjoy hanging around. We would love to have you.   P.s. nice 32 😀
