3. SAFC tuned,dump= 155rwkw.

not that way!

1. exhaust (no dump) 10psi at amberley autos = 150kw@wheels

2. same setup at race pace missing abit = 139kw@wheels

3. s-afc tuned, dump = 155kw@wheels, but massive midrange improvement over last dynos but dropped off top end coz of stock cooler and humidity on day.

grewat result inasnt that show's that you dont need a cooler to make reasonable power if your keeping the boost down. and you have alomost sold me on the dump pipe idea as well 155 @ 10 psi is a great figure next year put the cooelr in and may be 170-180 rwkw is possible.

great stuff

yeah i was happy with the results!

Remember tim with the white r33 who was watching porn on his incar tv last time at the dyno day? well he just chucked a new cooler on his car and got dynoed right after me with same setup as me just new cooler and got 169@wheels at just 9 psi.

So cooler is next on my list for sure!:P

Yea after nige tuned my safc my midrange was amazing.. two leeks later I bought a new set of tyres lol..

when I was racing the doc at lorne cruise we were side by side up until about 160-170 where my turbo really needed an exhaust, im sure that would have helped a fair whack. what did it cost you all up?

so inasnt,

I know the dump increased your dyno figures, but can you feel a difference when you drive it??

how about when I get my safc (which is next), does that make a noticeable diff. - can you really feel it when driving?? (can you compare it to when you boost up to 10psi from std)??

when i first put the s-afc in and did a rough tune copying grims s-afc settings u can definetly feel the midrange to top end pull! The dump mainly helps the turbo spool up faster and while crusing in 5th at say 80 u can just tap the throttle get good acceleration.

Overall there is a huge difference in feeling from when i frist drove the car when i bougth it!

I wanna piss the 2 stage turbosmart boost controller off for a EBC as the turbosmart doesent hold boost and spikes alot compared to an EBC.

And i wanna also get a power fc and sell my s-afc in the future!

    • Plan on the day will be to park trackside. Depending on space availability we will try put a small shade tent and a few of the cars on top of the hill inside turn 3, this is an easy to get to parking area with views of Turn 2, Turn 3, Turn 4 and Turn 5 and limited other pieces of the view around the track. IMPORTANT NOTE! One consideration from previous years is from memory the trackside parking sells out before the admission tickets, for that reason I encourage anyone planning on coming to buy tickets for parking now via the official website; https://www.worldtimeattack.com/ The type of parking you are looking for is 2 Day Park & View (Access Around Venue) Vehicle Pass Only Please note this does not include admission to the event itself, remember to grab that also, and kids under 12 get in for free!
    • This is going to be a mid week evening cruise. Come along and join us for a drive out to Palm Beach. This is a change of event plans after talking to some of the older members of the club. If this is what you want please come to one of our track days. This is an official SAUNSW event and will be run under a Motorsport Australia permit.
