ok if he made a comment about it - but I had to hear him go on about it for about 15 mins???!!!

so, did you feel an improvement from the dump only??

dont tell me any of the dribble he told u, u actually believe?

The parahn guy is prob a V8 guy.

As i said before it definately helps spool quicker and come on to boost alot earlier, like it from proven from my dyno graph!

U should tell the exhaust guy to give HKS a call and winge to them about how they have wasted millions of dollars flow testing dump pipes with seperated pipes for wastegate and exhaust gases!

yeah I know, that's my opinion too :(

But do you know how big the outlets (at the turbo flange side) are on one of the hks dump pipes??

Our dump is like 2 1/4" and the wastegate pipe is 1 1/4"

heres a pic of the dump pipes jms sell!

look familiar?

dont worry what that v8 yobbo exhaust guy in parahn says, he would not know shit!

hey inasnt,

I am trying to get in touch with the guys at ICE to see if they can get their exhaust guys to fit my dump and make up a front pipe and flare out my cat inlet/outlet - did you use them?

Are they any good?

yep ice fitted the dump, exhaust place near there modified my front pipe to fit!

interesting thread lads...

just a few questions ....

1. could someone please post a picture of the OEM dump pipe?

2. will an R33 dump pipe fit an R34 GTT?

3. what a/f ratio does the standard skyline run at?

4. i've looked up this place "arrows diff" in the whitepages but i can't find a listing? does anyone have a contact phone number?

5. INAST - you had problems with the dump not fitting from arrow's correctly? have arrows since fixed this? BLACK33 perhaps would know seeing as though he bought 1 after INAST?

why the hell are these forums split up into state...!!! this is soo annoying.... :)

franks

1. I have posed and so has black33 pics of the dump pipes in this thread.

2. The oulet flange for the r32 and r33 turbos are the same, dont know about the r34 tho. If the r34 has the same turbo as the r33 then yes it will fit.

3. my stock a/f were runnin near 10.0, which is rich as a bitch!

4. as black33 said!

5. the outlet of the dump pipe to front pipe is angles differently to the stock dump so i had to get my front pipe cut and rotated to join the new dump, no dramas with that part anyway!

6. what r u doin sneeking around the vic section??!! hehe kidding!! :)

    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
    • Harness is for a s1 Rb25det, and it is engine and lower harness.  the old harness had broken off plugs and was in very rough condition/exposed wires and splices etc. it is not able to be put back on the car, I could visually inspect to see if they had rewired any pins on the ecu plug. The fuel pump definitly isn’t turning off it’s an external pump and very loud you can hear it. Will look at the other harness tonight, am also going to pull the fuel rail and watch the injectors spray, will update here with what I find. Pretty sure at this point it has to be something to do with injectors because car will fire up on starting fluid and cas is clicking the Injectors. Fuel pressure is steady 43psi
    • Check the injectors flow evenly, and are actually flowing what you and the ECU think they should be flowing. If it's starting up on starter fluid, you have a fuel issue. Is it possible under cranking your fuel pump is turning off?   The harness you replaced, is that the whole engine harness? Do yourself a test, and drop the old harness on and plug it into the Z32 ECU. It's possible they've wired things different. From memory S1 to S2 is different in RB25 and you may have a wrong loom
    • I haven’t pulled the injectors to watch them spray yet but they are clicking from the cas and all of the spark plugs are wet with fuel. I’ve thought the cylinders were being flooded from the beginning and was hoping fuel pressure would fix it. Tonight I am going to pull the rail and watch the injectors spray. Don’t know how to test/diagnose if the plugs are firing in correct sequence but that should be a timing thing and as far as timing goes my car still has the half moon for the cas can only install it 1 way. And my mechanical timing is 100% correct I posted photos above. Confirmed with the balancer on and off.
