I'd recommend State Roads for a pre-purchase inspection before flying out. I've used them before in the past, as well as other friends, and you get a very comprehensive report. Not to mention finding inconsistencies with engine/chassis numbers, etc, etc.

Don't use state ones, Car may have been written off in other states that may not show up.

This is a national search. Used to be known as Revs but all the other states are now contributing towards this information.

Thanks for the link :) will probably be using that one.

I'm looking at a gen 4 liberty

Also been old by the seller that he can meet me at five docks?(said it was close to the cbd) But from what I can see no station close to there? Lol or am I not reading the map properly

Thanks for the help guys

It's not really "close" to the city. I drive past there everyday to go to work in the CBD. If your not familiar with the area, not a easy place to get around. Peak hour and even normal day traffic is bitch to get around the area even in public transport. Ask him to meet you at Strathfield or a place that has a train station.

Hmmm yeah was having a look at google maps lol thinking burwood or ash field as they seem abit closer

Haha yeah i hear Sydney traffic is pretty bad so will probs just train it out a little bit, any particular reason for strathfield? eg shopping center or something?

thanks

yeah shopping center still exists, there's some free parking as well. or you could arrange the guy to pick you up somewhere and drive over to Jap Link Motors 175 Parramatta Road, Haberfield NSW 2045. It's pretty much 5 mins away from Five Dock anyway. Call them and they could probably inspect the car for you.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
