Removal Of Carpet On Transmission Tunnel

I need to remove the carpet from the passenger side area. How do I do this without damage? There is a GPS unit installed which I have to access

There are 2 screws holding the carpet near the feet which I removed . I can remove some plastic paneling near the door.......Almost.

I cant pull the carpet away from the side wall. is this how it works . How much muscle should I use

Does the aircon duct cover pull off/ slide off/in one piece and shouldn't be touched?

I fear i will do damage and wont get it back to the original pristine condition.

The aircon duct in your pic pulls off. It takes a fair bit of force and should come off just as you think it's going to break but goes back together easy enough. There is also a long piece of trim running along the door sill that will need to come out. Start at the end closest to the glove box and pull it off.
