Cams L2S (Level 2 Speed)

That said... For DECA and some Winton events, a AASA Club Racing licence is also valid and it is a little cheaper. However will not get you onto Sandown, Phillip Island etc if you want to give them a shot as well :)

CAMS L2S = $95/year

AASA = $50/year

CAMS L2S will cover you for pretty much everything you want to do for the year, and it's not much more expensive. 10% discount on insurance with Shannons to if that sweetens it for you. Will basically pay it off, and more ;)

    • Issues 11 - 21 Finally got around to building a growing pile of weekly issues/parts and taking some photos. I did a bit of detail painting focusing on the fuel rail and injectors... these were originally all black plastic and looked quite unrealistic compared to the other parts. Also used some Tamiya panel line accent colour to give the whole cylinder head and surrounding parts a slightly weathered 'just run in' look to it. I've been following another Japanese guy's build and he's done the same more or less.  Also got a 1/8th scale number plate set to replace the GT-R Nismo plates that came with the kit, to go together with the 'just run in' theme.
    • Quick update, finally got an hour or two on a weekend where there wasn't shit weather, no sick kids, people visiting our house or had to work. Visited me old folks and the skyline...dropped  $10 of 98 in the tank and a brand new SCA shitter battery in. Cranked over a bunch of times but didn't fire up....pretty sure it's not getting any fuel. Gonna try some of the stuff suggested above, next time I make it over there.
    • @GTSBoyas luck would have it and it's legit the only part of this story that goes my way, I already had the liner out to retrim! So much lucky!
    • Drill out the subframe bushes, replace them, same with the diff bushes.
    • Sane enough. Remove the roof liner, because the acid will go everywhere.
