RTA magazine interview - anyone interested?

Hey all,

I have been approached by someone from the RTA to see if I know anyone who can help them by taking part in a short interview for their magazine Geared. The topic of this article is off-street drags.

Seeing as there's quite a few young people here who participate regularly or have participated in the past, I thought I'd mention it. I believe the questions will cover things such as do you enjoy it, what do you get out of it, what kind of car do you drive, what's your best time, etc. etc. It sounds pretty quick and easy. The guy did say it'd be good if the person could have a photo of them with their car. I'm guessing by this he meant if you could take one and supply it to him.

He said it's fairly urgent, so if anyone wants to participate please let me know ASAP, and I'll PM you the guy's contact details.

Dude, Tex said "off street drags" ie. on a drag strip, I'm pretty sure you're thinking of "street drags" ie. illegal street racing.

If you still need someone and it won't take too long I'll do it. Maybe ask some of the guys who have posted in the drag combat thread?

I'll do it for sure, lost my licence for 9 mths and had car blown up etc...am not as shady as some may imply, Timm aka Driftr will probably be able to confirm the crazy shit I used to do, pm me for number but I'd be happy to chat about it.

Going by this post............. You might not be the best spokesperson for car enthusiasts out there sad2.gif

Hey guys, thanks for the replies.

The guy writing the article has told me it's been put on the backburner for the time being, but a couple of you have expressed interest, so I will be letting you know if he informs me it's on again and he needs me to source a participant!

      Hey all just wanting some advice. I’ve just compression tested my RB25det and these are the following results  Cyl 1 - 135psi Cyl 2 - 135psi Cyl 3 - 120psi Cyl 4 - 140psi Cyl 5 - 130psi Cyl 6 - 125psi   do these numbers seem ok.  Thanks in advance

      Rust repairs completed, doors back on! pretty much totally back together running now. All future repairs will be fiddly wiring getting everything back up to road condition.  hasn’t  taken that long considering the condition I got the sub. note my helpers keeping the back seat warm 😂
