ok well.... today was tune day was half bad and half good dropped the car in there at 8 brad is super easy to talk to and explains everything about how he is gonna do it as its my first car that I've had on a dyno left it with him and went back to see how things was going looked at the dyno screen and seen big numbers 270 280 288 was thinking the best he then explains to me that there is problems with the ecu (last thing i wanted to hear) problems being that the ecu must have a bad earth and is making the air fuel mix jump and the water temp is jumping all over the place and tps sensor is not hooked up or not working these combined is making it hard to tune up top and i have a miss that is made by old spark plugs and and shit yellow jacket coil packs i have stock ones that im going to swap back in and have new plugs that tuner has gapped and once i have got my mate to fix the wiring its back to the dyno for more power!!!

just driving it tho its already like a new car amazing power and idle is now perfect with a awesome sound as the tuner said its fine to drive around and to boost is fine but not to thrash it or track as it could end in a big bang

so fix issues and back to finish tune :)

Yeah it is and the power is actually scary to me as I've never had anything close to this much power and every one Tells me there gonna be more once its finished cant wait haha... But yeah the ecu is a bit complecated as it uses the stock computer to power basic things like the fuel pump relay and other relays so its gonna be a test each wire job I'm lucky I have a mate that is a auto elec so he knows what's going on and should be able to solve the problem!!

talking to my mate the auto elec and explained it abit more as im running a map sensor not a air flow meter i require a air temp sensor that is missing!! for some unknown reason and with out it can make the motor lean out install one of them save my motor from going bang!! fix gitter on other sensors mad by bad earth and we are back on track just shows how wiring and simple earth plays such a huge roll!!

Yeah spell check trying to ruin my life haha.. Yeah mate done a 286kw run but the ecu playing up was abit all over the place will go back on in a week or so once the ecu is fixed and see how much it can really do!!

18psi im happy with it tuner said it done it easy no timing in it and only a basic tune and had coil packs braking down up top so that wouldn't help keen ti see what it will do round 2!!

    • Not really, but the heater box is pretty simple mechanically....if the door is one way the air bypasses the heater core and if it is the other way it goes through it for warm air.  If you are sure the actuator you moved manually is for the heater mix (there would also be one for output air direction) then I'd take the heater box out and see what is happening (you'll have to regass and re-coolant the systems afterwards) BTW pp724 onwards from the GTR workshop manual cover the system in good detail, it is probably worth checking. I think the IAT sensor might be a problem electrically for getting cold (if you got 24 error code not -24 it thinks the incoming air is -50c) and it covers how to test the sensor (although most likely it is either not plugged in or a wire is damaged)
    • Use the GKTech subframe bush and bring your subframe 10mm closer to the chassis. You'll need to fix an exhaust hanger to suit. One of the best mods I've done.
    • You'd really have to pull it apart further to know, it least you can be confident that the one heading to the back is not connected any more. There was once a ground on the shifter seal mount too, your head unit issue could be that simple
    • Perfect, I'll get to it this winter then at the same time as I weld on my anti squat kit.
    • Alright so my 32 only has one temperature no matter what degree you set it to. I’ve tried disconnecting the servo motor arm and moving it either direction and got no change. I’ve fixed the leak in my AC and re charged it and with it on and clutch engaged it still blows hot even though the low pressure pipe going to the firewall is ice cold. Both heater core hoses are hot while running as well. Diagnostic code showed 24 for intake air temperature sensor. Anybody got any ideas?
