Hi guys,

The time has come to sell my V35. I'm willing to swap for a Mitsubishi Evolution 7, 8, or 9 or Subaru 06+ WRX STI plus cash adjustment your way if required.

Location: Cabramatta, NSW

Contact: Terry 0432 710 083 or email [email protected]

Price: $22,500 (recently dropped due to the 2 issues below)

Condition: In excellent condition, paint is excellent and shiny with no fading as per photos. Mechanically A1 as my father is a mechanic, so it has been serviced and well taken care of. 80,000km servicing has just been completed & battery replaced. Rego has just been renewed in January so it has 1 full year of rego.

First up, here are 2 issues with the car:

* The driver side door lock doesn't lock when using the remote (but it does unlock using the remote) otherwise using the key manually to lock the door is fine. I suspect the one of the clips is loose or came off. Will need to get this inspected but I've dropped my asking price to take this into account.

* 2 slight tears (around 2-3cm) in the leather of the drivers seat thigh support lower bottom corner.

The V35 is manual 6 speed with the Premium pack (leather interior, auto climate, Bose Stereo etc).

Features/Mods:

* VOLK racing CE28 19" rims + tyres (costed $4,000)

* TEIN Electronic Dampening Control system installed with cabin controller

* TEIN Adjustable Sports Coilover suspension (both TEIN components costed around $4,000)

* Heavy duty performance sports clutch

* Nissan optional front lip

* Nissan rear spoiler

* Nissan rear pods

* Side-skirts which match the lines of the car.

* Tinted windows

* Passenger side window motor unit replaced with new one (common issue with V35s which costs around $300 parts and labour to fix)

* Kakimoto Regu 06&R cat back exhaust system, not loud, legal decibels (costed $2,000)

* Performance panel air filter

* BOSE Surround Sound System with 8 speakers + Panasonic subwoofer and amplifier.

* JVC Touch Screen 7" DVD sound system unit that plays DIVX movies (costed $1,500 with reverse camera and iPod aux cable)

* Panasonic discreet Reversing parking camera

* Play iphone/ipod/non iPod Music Players via Aux-in cable installed

* Genuine OEM HID Headlights

* Climate Control

* Floor Mats (Factory, Skyline Logo)

* Infiniti badging (badges professionally removed from the boot for a clean look, will hand these to the new owner)

* Volk Racing wheel centre caps have been removed (will hand these to the new owner)

* Full security system installed (will give details to buyer)

* Headlights and grill have been professionally converted to black housing, giving the car a more sporty/unique look.

Bump.

Can do lower $19,500 if VR rims substituted for 350z track rims, and dvd play, aux, reverse camera replaced for Pioneer HU and without rear pods and front lip. Price is negotiable as I see a car I want to buy.

Bump. Price drop to $18,400 and will throw in DVD player, reverse camera, front lip, rear pods etc. Car is clean and will not disappoint.

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
    • Welcome! New member myself, but I had an R33 back in 2002. Best advice I could give, based on my experience: if you're running the factory turbo, be very conservative with boost. I made the mistake of just fiddling around with the boost controller and cranking the boost for fun, and the end result was my intake pipes popping off frequently from the constant deluge of oil that was being blown into the recirc by the stressed-out turbo, which itself was siphoning oil from the engine and farting it out both sides of its centre bearing (or something to that effect). If I could do it all again, I would have gotten a new turbo and had a tune dialled in professionally and then just left it alone! Funny you mention the metal shavings in the gearbox, as I had the same thing - the probe plug (magnetic drain plug, essentially) would come out caked with shavings. At least it was doing its job. Not sure if that's just sacrificial wear and part of the deal, or if my gearbox was shagged, but I wasn't abusing it. Enjoy the R33 - they're a dying breed, and if they weren't $35k+ on CarSales in Queensland, I might have picked up one of those again, instead of the 370GT I own now (though I'm loving the 370GT, that big 3.7L V6 just hits different).
    • Howdy folks. I owned an R33 back in 2002, which was thoroughly beyond my capacity (financially speaking) to maintain/insure, so we parted ways in 2004. Fast forward 21 years (to literally yesterday, in fact) and I'm now the proud owner of a 2007 V36 370GT. I'm happily surprised by how much power the VQ37VHR makes, compared to the RB25DET, considering the latter is turbocharged. I had planned to add a turbo at some point but I'm on the fence about whether I'll even need it (though I do love the sudden onset of extra torque). Any other 370GT owners around the traps, I'd love to hear about your experiences with this car (good and bad).
    • Perhaps the answer is... more jacks!* *proper jacks must be used.
    • I NEVER think about using a scissor jack unless there is absolutely no other alternative. f**king things are dangerous, annoying and stupid.
