Stock Suspension

My R33 GTR has been defected for being too low and too loud, because i was driving sensibly and at the right speed.. Obviously the cop was having a bad day and needed cheering up.

So i have to take it through regency to get the defect off, it currently has fully adjustable coilovers, which i'm fairly certain will raise some red flags at regency, is there anywhere in the world i can find some stock coil overs, I've looked around and found bugger all, any sugestions??

Where are you located? I know in some states they are not an issue as long as the car is the right height. They just mark them so people can tell if its the right height.

In SA you'd need to set the coilovers to a legal height then weld the collars to the body so they can't be lowered any further.

Otherwise, you have to trawl the forums looking for people who are wrecking R33GTRs with stock suspension.....which is not very many, to be sure.

yea in SA, i read on the vehicle inspections website that having welded suspension is an issue
