Hi, I want to replace my front Nissan grille emblem with the Infinity logo, and am surprised at how few sources there are.

The only one I found is for a new one at http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=18573 Interesting that they come in a box stamped as Nissan...

I tried eBay with no real success. Found one in US that did not ship to Aus, and was 39 before shipping.

Also, is there anything I should look out for, or are they completely interchangeable as I am thinking? I have a 2003 V35, I am thinking I could use an Infinity logo from 2003-2007.

Any ideas or even better, someone who wants to swap?

I got one that im not using

Can swap for nissan.

How can we swap? PM me for details.

why? your car isn't American.

Its a temp arrangement till I get a new grille. I prefer the simplicity of the Infinity logo from a graphic design perspective. Also prefer the brand-less design ( Because we are not in America, its less obviously branded) over the unmistakable Nissan advertising on the front of my car.

That's ok i just have this thing against people Americanising JDM cars

I'm kind of with you on that. Bogan Holdens with chev badges is probably the reason for my dislike of such things though.

Funny part is, in USA it is 'cool' to put Nissan skyline badges on a G.

Awwww man don't get me started on commy's with chev badges. I saw one yesterday with a commodore, holden, ss AND a chev badge on the back.

Very true, people give them shit if they put Nissan badges on their cars.

In reality though, putting the Infiniti badge on it is Australianising it since they're sold as Infinitis here. Not quite the same as the Chev-wannabes. :)

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
