  4. guessing as the rims are differnet widths front to rear (at least 17in coupe ones are)

Its just the fact they are skinny and high offset, from memory 7.5/8.5 +30something so they are no real use to anyone, besides defect clearers Where as say R33GTR as 17x9+30 a lot of people with sils, non GTR skylines and toyotas want them as they are a subtle rim that fits well and great for track ect so people still ask nearly 1K for ( besides the occasional bargain). Up untill recently you were paying minimum 2K for R34 GTR, but they have come down to mid teens of late. Same as the 17s are quite nice for a stock wheel, if they were a little wider and tad more concave I think they would be a lot more desirable
  6. yeah the 17s go for chump change someone I know sold a set with near new tyres for $300 I just picked up a set of the concave V35 (base coupe?) ones off ebay for $130, just need to replace 2 tyres Where as the 18s you are lucky to get them for $500 going upwards to 700 or so, AS they are a lot wider/better offset so are wanted buy a lot of other cars
  7. As said above, Engine swaps arent as easy in a same/ similar family cars like older nissand with CA/SR/RB interchangability Ps if mate still want to sell motor let me know, would love to put on in a s13

  10. I have some tanabe ones that ride quite nicely I would swap for stock shocks + cash
  11. Best example of difference in dynos was my s14 got it tuned, made on the lower side for those kind of mods but shop kinda renound for lower figures. Car made 225KW. Two weeks later went to a dyno day without changing anything at another shop and the car made 245kw, and most people were saying at the dyno day they were getting lower figures than they usually did :lol: AS said about dyno is more of a tuning tool and real comparisons cant really be made unless they are on the same one with same settings

  14. never saw the logic in that if im going 180+ you shouldnt be looking at the speedo, and the 180km dash is way easier to read day to day. I actually did the opposite in the s14 putting the jdm cluster in for the 180km instead of only ever using 1/3 of the gauge
  15. Hey guys, not having a huge amount of interest in the V35 atm, considering parting out some of the mods to drop the price a little to move it. Car/parts is located campbelltown NSW -Tanabe coilovers (street spec so still decent ride) $800 + you stock struts as I dont have stock ones to replace them - FUJITSUBO Legalis R Exhaust and stainless test pipes Pretty much everything past the stock extractors $900 + stock exhaust -SSR Veilside Golts 19x9+9 19x10.5+3 215/35 and 245/35 tyres 9/13cm of dish One front has gutter rash, the rest just a few very light scratches from strech/rocks gettting caught in dish Fits well but needs some spacing to clear brembos $1600 + stockies or something that would fit -6 month old OEM 350Z 'Rev up' airbox and intake $150 AS I said just a EOI atm Anyone intersted the whole car is up for 17K

Serious about selling this now Nicest and most reliable car ive owned to date, only selling to upgrage tow car and go back to 2 regos 2003 V35 350GT Rego till 15th march 85XXX KM Factory features -VQ35DE 6 speed manual (same drivline as 350z) -Brembos all round -Leather/swede interor -Bose stero system -Factory HID -Factory LSD Mods -Tanabe coilovers (street spec so still decent ride) -Fujibitso Stainless exhaust -SSR Veilside Golts 19x9+9 19x10.5+3 -Brand NEW OEM 350Z 'Rev up' airbox and intake -Badgless OEM style plastic grill -USDM clear indicators -Nismo leather gear knob Clutch has been replaced with a heavy duty one, but isnt too tough. Serviced every 5000KM Was a lady's daily driver before I got it so has a few scrapes. Was quoated a couple of hundred to touch it up, but been busy with the sil80 Pretty much a great all rounder, Looks nice, comfy, can fit 4 adults, yet suprisingly powerful and goes alright throught the twisties.   17. First outing for the new sil80 shell was going alright till the clutch decided it liked to stay on the flywheel too much so that was the end Cheap thrills like usual, pretty sure bother ingoyed his first off street day in the mx5 too
  18. Just found out last minute that I have the day off work Email sent regarding if there are 2 spots left, one for me and my brother (his first outing so will need all the membership ect)
