  7. But already have 1j conversion kit and even if it weighs a lil more sits a hell of a lot lower and R154 with remote shifter is bolt in and near bullet proof. Someone blew 2 Z33 boxes behind a SR... not cheap and/or easy to replace if they go Still love Vq's though
  8. They are not cheap though, but after comparing SPL and stuff like cusco to cheaper/generic stuff The quality is stupidly different and will not run cheap stuff anymore. EG a pair of cusco rose joints with 10,00km felt far more tight an than a brand new set of china stuff
  9. yeah they are in NSW Not on his site but I did get a quote on some rear stuff for the 35, Not a huge demand for them in aus yet espeically compared to S chassis but have seen a price list for Z33/V35 posted somewhere. I have spent an easy 3-4K through him for S chassis stuff , him and streeter are the 2 people I can not rate highly enough

Hardrace from what ive seen are generic China stuff Little more but you can get SPL through JDM obsession, from what ive seen in there arms for S chassis and what ive read for the 35 arms seems to best quality with out being redardedly expensive. Everything I have got off him is actually cheaper than the US price + postage
  11. If you could easily bolt up a manual box besides paying 3K for a z33 box. There would be a VQ30DET going in my 14 rather than a 1j... stuipd only coming auto

  13. Only get the Kaiwami's if going 19x9.5+15 and 10.5+12 And if you do go through Streeter Alright for entry level works at about 1800 for the set
  14. if you can swing a spanner you can do a basic oil change and some entry level mods Save some cash and learn about the car. If you are not super confident in being able to check problems ect just get every 2nd service done somewhere and get them to give it a full once over for your more infrequent consumables like belts ect
  15. ompare your the intake tube to pics of the z33 one I thought it was more just to get rid of the resonater for a bit more induction noise rather than KW... either way on a NA the preformance gain from a basic intake is so small you wont be able to tell, besides the placebo from more noise
  16. dafug is a pop charger ? or is that some stupid yank term for gay as aids pod that sucks in hot air? Dont know if it would work on the eco motor but z tube, rev up air box and decent drop in is probably the best way to go as get a bit more intake noise and not get pumped if you get pulled over

Coupes are still very unassuming to the local constabulary compared to your usual suspects like Silvia, evos ect Personally Don't really care about everyone else not looking to be a traffic light hero and coupe looks a lot less maxima like. Plus any crazy conversion is retardedly hard to get legal in most states
