Diagnostic Question

Hey how do you do diagnostic on 1994 r33 i cant find the comp to plug into

Plug should be in behind the fusebox cover by the drivers right knee.

Is on series 2.

There's a good chance it is there but tucked way up in behind the dash.

No real reason to remove it. Just look deeper. Good luck.

Me and a mechanic did a full look and cldnt find it anywhere, my cars backfiring alot and check engine lights on

If it's not there then perhaps it's been chopped but why I don't know.

Having a search on here tells me that yes a series 1 has the plug in that spot.

Tis a mystery... Hope you sort it out. I just recently got an ECUtalk cable and it's way cool to play with.

Maybe stupid but can i run a diagnostic with a commander apexi you re kon?

Not on the factory ECU.

Perhaps you'd better explain yourself. You can't necessarily trigger diagnostics on an aftermarket ECU from the Nissan Consult port. You can't use a PowerFC's handset to talk to any other ECU let alone do diagnostics on them.

What ECU do you have?
