Headlights R32 Not Operating Correctly.

When I put the headlights switch on high beam, the headlights will turn on and the high beam only turns on when the indicator is clicked forwards. Is this normal? Because I'm trying to get the car over the pits and they telling me the high beam doesn't work?

The headlight switch simply turns on the headlights.

To choose low beam the indicator stalk is in the position close to the steering wheel - to change to high beam push the indicator stack away from the steering wheel to the other position. To flash the high beam pull the indicator stalk closer to the steering wheel against spring tension.

This is the standard way the headlights are turned on with all Jap cars.

Could be how your trying to operate the lights - see above explanation on how it works.

However, If you do have issues with your lights it will be the switch/dial on the cluster surround (common problem).

Fix - buy a new one.
