Looks like I've bought a set of 18x10 Nismo LMGT1's

The rims have a bit of gutter rash and I want to recondition them back to their former glory.

One thing I have noticed is that these rims are powdercoated white all round, but it appears on the 400R they had a polished lip:

Did these rims originally come like this? If so, would it be easier/cheaper to have the outer part of the rim sandblasted, linished and polished rather than respraying? Who would you guys recommend to do this and what would I expect to pay?

Also, where can I find a replacement NISMO decal?

that replacement nismo decal (old school) can be found on ebay - alternatively you can also get sticker shops to do it for you if you provide them an example (either in real or in picture form) - or there's a few members here (RUSH)??? who can also help you out. just search up nismo stickers on this forum and have a look in the threads for some reputable sticker shops/guys.

that has silver outline, the originals have gold. there are gold outlined ones on ebay i saw them a few weeks ago! aussie seller too i believe. sorry i don't have the link anymore deleted it =(

Also, would the studs that hold the rims together be difficult to replace?

yeah those look much better. and as for the studs i'd say talk to whoever you're getting the wheels refurbished at about them; i've read some wheel restoration of BBS/SSR/Works - similar wheels with those rivets as well, over on JDMST and i think they had those replaced as well so might not be a big deal to get done (new pack, pop them in?). I don't think difficult...hopefully

wow they look good in white. I got a set that I painted the centres charcoal black. PS Don't change just 1 bolt on the rim you will throw the weights right out. and when I refurbed mine I noticed that the bolts were extremely light so god knows what they are made from.
