reNEGaDe88
I bought a R32 skyline with 5-10 year old HKS Hipermax Coilovers (Purple). How do I adjust parts such as the shock absorbers? Do I need an Allen/Hex Key? There is the threaded bolt that has two flat sides and a nut at top of coilovers. See pic added (top shock) What is the nipple-nut looking thing at bottom of shock absorber. See pic added (hks) Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/425699-how-to-adjust-hks-coilovers/ Share on other sites

Tommy Kaira RL
The hole in the middle of the top plate is for a long extension hex key for stiffening or softening the shocks. The 2 large lock rings on the coilover is for raising and lowering and the tyre valve cap is for pressurising the coilover with nitrogen. Don't undo that one.
