new to the forum, really good setup.

just bought an m35 axis, have sourced some blank keys - need a couple of old keys with working remotes.

Want to confirm From what ive sussed - can you use the internals from any m35 key, put them into the new case and program to your car??

If so, would be keen to buy a couple of old keys with working remotes/internals - as my key was wet inside, and board is fried.

Also if anyone can tell me, my car has an anti theft sticker on the side window - appears to be a factory looking sticker - did these things come out with a factory or option alarm system?? and would it be linked to the key??

Chris

Don't know much about the programming keys, but the dealer optioned alarm will be tied into the key remote to arm/disarm at same time as lock/unlock.

Chris,
my M35 has a factory (dealer fitted i'd say) alarm. Mine does not immobilise the car, it just disarms the alarm and unlocks the car from the factory key. I programmed my own key which i purchased from ebay and followed a guide online to program the new key, but i did have an original key. If you have no keys already programmed, you will need an auto elec with a scan tool, or a Nissan Dealer to program you key.
If its blank, yes, any stagea key will go into a new key and be able to be programmed, not sure if you can re-write a key which has already been programmed.

I got my second key from http://www.importmonster.com.au/order_view?id=23879 when it arrived from Japan put the internals into http://www.ebay.com/itm/170871691770?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649 http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/252972751.html First check that the key fits into the ignition switch, if so ...get it cut, then program it to the car. Any M35 key will program to the car. I also only recived 1 transponder for the immobiliser that was installed, however paid for one to come from England with details on how to sync both to the system and now everthing is good with 2 sets. If details are needed PM me.

just slightly off-topic, but can someone post a pic of the M35 key? I have been trying unsuccessfully to get a spare key for my '03 HY34 Gloria with a 3-button remote (lock/unlock/boot), and the factory security system.

Alternatively, if anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be much appreciated! I managed to get a key cut yesterday, but it doesn't have the remote buttons on it: I figured I'd at least have a spare key handy, but would like to have a second key with all the OEM options without having to fork out $570 to Mr Nissan...

You can get this key and have it cut. Will only cost $6.90 for the key. I have one with the chip from a M35 key that I got from Yahoo Japan via Import Monster, and works after it was reset to my car. All up cost about .....$6.90 Ebay key......$11 for key from Japan with chip that I needed,......$36.59 to get key here from Japan......$8 to cut Ebay key......Grand sum of $62.49 for a working key

Also the Nissan Qashqai keys will fit M35, however they wont take the chips the internals are not made for it. I also have one and it was a bit pricey to have cut at $22

You can also get these flip keys from Ebay for about $8

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
