*sigh* that wide body rob is the Nismo LM roadcar, only like 50 made for Group A amalgamation I think.

the ones running around are from Skyline Imports, they don't charge an arm and a leg for their kits, they're all copies off the Kakimoto widebodykit, which they fit to some of the cars which they comply by request.

here's the J-spec R33, which sports the original kakimoto kit , being put to good use.

notice the original kakimoto wang hidden in the smoke which is uber rare and expensive, and I don't think Skyline imports puts it on their copies.

The white widebody GTR getting around that people are refering to is completly different to the Nismo LM one pictured and nothing like the Kakimoto copies that Skyline Imports do. Although I parked my GTST beside the white one Ernie had at his shop for a while and it was huge! Made my GTST look like a little toy. Never got to see in person the red or yellow ones featured in HPI. The Skyline Import one that Ernie show me were very well put together, the pearl/white widebody GTR getting around looks a bit dodgy to me in comparison.

here are some cleaner photos but this is on the only wide body gtr i have seen...dont have any info about how many were made or were there copys made :D

That looks fu*king amazing!

Imagine the sheer shock factor driving that around

I like it :aroused:

And u know with that much body work, and made by nismo, that the engine aint no standard engine :)

yeah some crazy mod does lookalike kits (seeing as the original is off limits). the R32 one I've got the brochure for, its made to look like the R32 GR A widebody, almost got it, but then I saw the BN widebody n fell in luv

i have seen this car on smith st......looks crazy and the bodykit is really over the top. Oh and the GTR badge wasnt straight heh

i've seen this one here on the coast a few times in southport, parked outside the BMW yard, white with a pearl, looks like more of a fiberclass kit this one

those look like they were modeled on the KURE race r33 gtr, the only kit i'd want for a r33, i might have to do some serching the net...

this is my widebody kit i dont know if you have seen me driven but i cruise around marsdan ive been to milton macs a couple of times but havent been out to much cause i didnt have my licence but i got it back now so if any one wants to go for a cruise or just compare cars just tell me where and ill be there.....hope you like.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
