real keen to see the ant eater on the weekend :) are you totally in love with it? driven it much?

not too much.....think I did about a 100km since I got it back...........but yes it's great to finally have it.

Need to learn how to drive it all over again..........but jut feels fantastic Bodo :)

well I'm not gonna ring it's neck that's for sure.

Will be taking it sensibly until I get my confidence back up................which is gonna take quiet some time

But I will get there in the end ;)

north side. just watching Scotts build, and hearing that Dan is building Matt's new engine

Still at All Star Tuning. Long story short is there is a few hiccups here and there with the transplant. Nothing major just little things here and there that need modifying as they foul on other parts etc. Heaps of little niggly things like that.

Last i heard was the E85 was eating away at hte fuel line a little so once thats fixed its ready to Dyno. Its full of water and oil and just needs the leaky line fixed.

Did I warn you of the little bits and pieces that just need a little work like I did zac? Having done it they are a dint as it's all little bits and pieces, none of which are particularly difficult to fix but take time and sometimes thing have to be taken back off to sort them.

There is a reason the evo is only going 2.3L and not the different block 2.4 route.

I always knew it was never going to be a simple change over. Im not worried/fazed at all that its taking a few weeks longer with these little things. Id rather it all be done right the first time.

Hosting the biggest Amateur event in QLD at the moment and all these good young golfers think they are Tiger Wood or Adam Scott.. Hurts my head

Tell them their swing is awful Scottie and that they need to put more hip into it...........................for the lulz :P

      R33 GTST Steering Rack (49001-19U05) Rebuild?

      Finally have an update on this  Rack came in this week so I did a test fit. You do need the S chassis bushings since the rack is 5mm thinner than the R33 rack. The main issue I foresaw and ran into was one of the hardlines not lining up properly with there it's meant to on the rack. After some gentle coercing and bending very slightly, I managed to get it to fit without any kinks and keeping the hardline pretty much in all of the factory mounting positions. I did have to unbolt all of the soft mounts to move the line around so I could snake it out and bend it safely but it looks good to me for now. I'll update when the rack is fully bolted in and functioning.

      What are you thinking makes a sequential shit to drive on the street? About the ONLY thing I can think of, is if you're wanting to be able to roll up to lights in third or second and pop it straight into neutral, or you want to come down two or three gears, say out of 5th and back to second, but they shift quick enough it doesn't really matter

      I'm not a drag racing guy, but that was a good watch. Didn't Ibrahim's car have some cooch! But the big question is....WTF is with so many of them running without seatbelts!
