washed the car last night at like 430 .. run out of time to polish and now i need to go down the GC...... im sensing an early early morning tomorrow for charity cruise

nice

Going to give my car a wash now. Just waiting for the battery to charge! New ecu on Thursday too!

although u will not need new ECU for tomorrow's charity cruise

Nor looking forward to cleaning the car today gonna pull half the car apart to fix up some trim that hasn't been sitting properly for a while now.

focus on just cleaning the car Zeke, you will have plenty of time to correct the trim that most peps won't care about..........then again I also anal bout bodywork so totally understand

This whole cleaning the car thing blows goats.

think of it as your exercise for the day Bunts then after crack a beer or two and enjoy your hard work (results)

At least your cars are able to run :-P

Anyone got a spare seat for a photographer I've got coming along? Work and the car gods have f**ked me over. I can get him to the meet (in my oh so classy Astra) but I have to bail early so he'll need a lift to the powerhouse mid afternoon.

less work more car fun perhaps? Or is that the other way around? :P

Hope you can find time to fix the 34 soon Boz

Time is the real killer. Although I may have more up my sleeve because of this. I was using my own car (with a generous per/km allowance and fuel reimbursement) to do a sales rep job. Guess I won't have that job any more :P Which is OK because I wanted to stop anyway. Two jobs, an internship, summer semester uni, a relationship and the club all left me with zero time. I'll have done over 100 hours between the jobs, internship and uni this week and that is killing me when it doesn't pay. Didn't mind it when i was a manager and doing 14-16 hour days every day because I got free food, free booze and a good pay packet.

Well I kinda do. Any throttle through the mid range causes knock. But I will either go very slow down the back or go straight from the first meet point to lakeside

if you are taking on so much right will hopefully mean you will have more time in the future..........smart work DOES pay off :)

is it worth the risk Bunts?

I have been driving it like this for 12 months. If I keep it in my pants its all good

car is almost ready just minor details to finish.

Did you get that exhaust fitted Bunts? so we can compare shiny 44gal drum exhausts :P

I have not fitted it. I might not either, seeing if I can swap it for somthing different!

Ya I am all hooked up with a Stuffed toy,

Done my dyno run, little disappointed so got sadd face atm :(

But the cruise tomorrow will prob bring my smile back.

Looking forward to see some HawT cars and great peeps.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
