sneakey pete
PWR item.* May be for the 33 meaning it doesn't fit properly. Even then though its a 270x600x76 item, as opposed to the stock 300*600*60. *Second hand and cheap, not brand new Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/431233-mugabetown-whoretownin-at-its-worst/page/900/#findComment-7297548 Share on other sites
Sick_R31
Buy expensive cry once, buy cheap cry daily Should have just bought a new plazmaman intercooler Also sounds like a typical PWR product, expensive (when new) and doesn't fit Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/431233-mugabetown-whoretownin-at-its-worst/page/900/#findComment-7297574 Share on other sites

Ants
And what do you classify as "Works fine"?I've had it on the car for like 8 years and does its job adequately Although maybe for track days it may show signs of weakness Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/431233-mugabetown-whoretownin-at-its-worst/page/900/#findComment-7297589 Share on other sites
sneakey pete
Buy expensive cry once, buy cheap cry daily Honestly, I was. However Someone had this one so I thought why not, 350 bucks. that being said, i'm dubious of the plazaman ones. The one pictured on their site doesn't look like it'd fit on the mounts. Sick_R31
Probably cools the intake charge and doesn't leak... I think the factory one does that as well. that being said, i'm dubious of the plazaman ones. The one pictured on their site doesn't look like it'd fit on the mounts. So calling the phone number on their website and asking them if the GTR intercooler was a bolt up job never crossed your mind? So calling the phone number on their website and asking them if the GTR intercooler was a bolt up job never crossed your mind? but isn't the factory FMIC limited to 300rwkw and looses efficiency after that? sneakey pete
So calling the phone number on their website and asking them if the GTR intercooler was a bolt up job never crossed your mind? I only started worrying about their fit after having issues with this one today. By the time i'd got back in and fnished packing everything up it was after 4, so i figured i'd give them a call in the morning... Sick_R31
My Hybrid one does a better job... Good for you and your car but isn't the factory FMIC limited to 300rwkw and looses efficiency after that? If the car doesn't go to the track or drag strip when do you get the chance to use those 300+ killawasps? 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/431233-mugabetown-whoretownin-at-its-worst/page/900/#findComment-7297645 Share on other sites

Just out of curiosity, do drag strips allow intercooler sprays? Would a trip to Bunnings be cheaper , and apparently easier?... Sick_R31
Just out of curiosity, do drag strips allow intercooler sprays? Straight from the andra manual 4.6.1 Intercoolers Must be securely mounted with all hoses securely clamped. No restriction, apart from location, on air-to-air units. Air-to-liquid are limited to water and/or water ice ONLY and must be sealed to prevent fluid dropping on to track surface. Dry ice permitted on its own but housing must be vented to atmosphere to prevent pressurizing of system. Intercoolers must be located outside of the driver’s compartment or contained in a commercially manufactured ballistic containment device and fitted with a relief valve / burst panel vented outside the driver’s compartment to the atmosphere. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/431233-mugabetown-whoretownin-at-its-worst/page/900/#findComment-7297741 Share on other sites
