Mugabetown - Whoretownin' At It's Worst.

I am, but the car needs to get from my place to the shop to get said professional alignment.

Yeah, quite a few hours have been poured into her recently. Gregs help has been indispensable.

surely someone has a trailer?

Getting a tow is hard, A) got to make sure the servo trailer is good for the weight of the skyline, a lot are 1200kg's or less. B) skyline needs to be high enough to get on. C) need a tow car, considering trailer is bigger and bulkier your standard falcon probably isn't going to cut it.

Moving small Datsuns around? not so hard! My dad got himself a project car on Friday...

I would not be using my Falcon mate.

But my parents Landcruiser and the trailer would certainly be strong enough to support a two tonne car

Eye alignment is fine to drive down to get a proper one... just toe it in a bit.

No need for a trailer

Drove with an eye alignment today, much better than no alignment... No alignment was so shit even staying under 30kph...

Turns out this project car is probably going to be sitting there for 2 years, so maybe when its finished?

You know you want the leopard sooner than that... Do it Pete, do it!!!

    • Nah, turn the boost up, break the gearbox, and enjoy leaving it parked for a few years while you save for a better box...
    • I see those two Stageas have the "punched 40mm hole" deregistered Japanese number plates 👍 Nice kouki group shot with the different colours too.
    • Ended up just being a loose exhaust bolt luckily.
    • Yeah I made that post way too early, sorry I must have assumed it was bad because it's a 20+ year old thrashed shitbox lol. It was just a loose exhaust bolt.
    • Like others have said, drop the power to give your drivetrain a % of reliability until you can up the drivetrain reliability  It isn't rocket science, build power to the weakest link with a % of safety Whilst upping the the reliability of the drive train is costly, there's no point in having the engine make big power if it keeps eating the drivetrain....ask me how I know, I had the tow truck on speed dial for a few years, and I spent huge amounts of money fixing issues and breakages that really would have been cheaper in the long run if I did it right the first time Me, I like a nice sized fudge factor, that keeps me off the tow truck
