and engagement anniversary

youd better be cracking a bottle of scotch I hope

That was yesterday :P does vodka count? I will drink and Zane will supervise... :D

That's not a bad effort! I think I am at 6 with the gtr

Nice, I think Zane is about 6 years with his also :) but no GTR love... I need one... One day :P

also pinky needs some paint loving Mel.

Haha I have some paint I got colour matched at home, I wasn't here last weekend and I've been working/class every weekend for the last 5 weeks so soon hopefully I will get a chance to actually get it on her :P

Scotch > Vodka

well you should - she's has to look good for SAU drag day ;)

I have no interest in drags, never really have... I am more interested in track days, motorkhana, skidpan, drift days (although I suck haha), cruises...

fair enough, however its just one SAU event Mel.

Plus its fun - revs, release clutch, hang on.

I will even let you borrow my new helmet :)

Doesn't it have RWD mode?

Either way - offroad skids

Nah, It has Neutral for towing, 4 High, which is an Attesa type system, 80% to the rear until it senses slip. 4 High Locked, which locks the center diff for 50/50 then 4 Low which is as above but in low range, obviously.

Lol... I go to other SAU events, I am planning to go just not enter :)

Breaking champagne on the bow?

Lol for some reason I don't think my fiberglass front bar will hold up quite so well :P

must cut the mandatory red ribbon first to...........you know to make it official lol

Haha we cut the tape to our driveway when the concrete was set and we could drive on it for the first time :P

    • This. The R34 handbrake icon DOES come up when the brake fluid level is low. You might be sitting right on that threshhold. I have been down this diagnosis path and this was the solution (and it was pretty much as full as your picture is to begin with).
    • Unfortunately the cavaet to that is that while any scan tool should be able to read the code, the workshop will need a consult plug to OBD socket adapter. You don't have a location on your profile, where are you based?
    • @Haggerty this is your red flag. In MAP based ECU's the Manifold pressure X RPM calculation is how the engine knows it is actually...running/going through ANY load. You are confusing the term 'base map' with your base VE/Fuel table. When most people say 'base map' they mean the stock entire tune shipped with the ECU, hopefully aimed at a specific car/setup to use as a base for beginning to tune your specific car. Haltech has a lot of documentation (or at least they used to, I expect it to be better now). Read it voraciously.
    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
