Thanks :)

Attempted to do the intercooler tonight....

F**k you Facebook sales.

The intercooler is for a completely different car

Pretty sure a s chassis.

Anyway I had the headlight on passenger side out..... Then the reo and bumper off and the bonnet latch support and wheel and got the side mount out (found out on the side mount the clamp that is on the pipe that runs to the other side was left loose and the pipe was bearly sitting on.... So mustn't of had much boost running through it.....)

Gave up after finding out it was wrong

Put it all back together and parked it out side. I will test drive tomorrow.

I'm a bit over this wrong parts stuff.

This were the photos I took

It now has all the Rays back on :)

It now also has this in it post-108324-14328059190468_thumb.jpg

Just a narrow band guage had to buy a new 02 sensor for that aswell :P this is untill I get the nistune in an will be aiming for having a AEM fail safe guage, has a wideband and boost in one and can cut the ecu into limp home

I have had it out for a few spirited drives around mountains and a lot of driving around town. Has still not let me down

It also now has a dw300 in tank 340lph e85 compatible pump :)

It also only gets 350km's to a tank :(

And the other day we polished and cleaned both up for a photo shoot

Still awaiting photos but here is a sneak peak post-108324-14328063644137_thumb.jpg

And last but not least I bought a r34 turbo tonight

And will be pulling the exhaust manifold off and replacing studs and the gasket as it has a snapped stud and is leaking :( so all in near future this will happen :)

Reply's and comments are welcome :) please give feed back :) I do miss being on the forums :P

Still have the turbos and I turned the second 25 into a coffe table and sold it

Kept the head. Mate now has a 31 and he is going to 25 so I might steal the block and to a rb30dett or sell off all parts and stick to a pu34 highflow

Went and bought another 34 turbo the other day as it was cheap

So not to sure what I'm going to do but it's just tossing up between the options now

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
