Not the way i wanted to post pics up of my new toy...but i thought i would share and try and catch the little punks

I was driving up Yamba heading south past O'Malley at about 10.40pm (near Mawson Dr) and i hear a massive thud on my passenger side...after pulling up and checking out i had been hit with a large rock/bit of cement and put a decent size dint in my passenger rear door. (See attached pic)

Did a u-turn and went back looking for them and they had ran off as far as i was to believe...called the cops and just got off the phone to.the police and another car got hit on the windscreen and shattered her windscreen (lucky it didnt go though).

If any one was in the area about that time spotted any kids there, any descriptions or help would be great. Want to catch the little punks!!!

Extremely pissed off!!!!

Had a it happen twice a long time ago when I was driving my mum's car. Once on Athlon and the other time at the Monaro highway. I actually found the kids on Monaro but they were so young. I reported to the Police, they turned up but nothing happened. And my Mum was being a retard about it so I didn't pursue it any further.

I would really blame the parents but they'll blame some one else. Seems to be that way these days.

From what ive seen theres different reasons why some kids are like that.

Some are frustrated and take it out on society, others are born or raised as assholes.

Scientists have proven that animals are born with personality, so its actually true that some people are born jerks.

Some will learn from a beating, others will learn if you go and smash his bike in revenge.

I would really blame the parents but they'll blame some one else. Seems to be that way these days.

I remember as a naughty kid, there were various situations with parents.

I would get in heaps of trouble if caught, but my parents were always at work.

My mate over the road would also get in trouble, but his mum was single, overworked, overstressed, and actually not well health wise.

Another mates dad was a truckie, always away, and his mum was stupid so we could easily fool her.

Then there were also those guys that seemed to come from a family of fkwits, and their parents didnt seem to care what happened.

So often the kid will get in trouble if caught, never know your luck.

That's really Fuucked but it could've been worse I guess.

I'd be Spewin' if it happened to me or mine.

Still, I hope the little sh!ts cop it and get a fat dose of Karma too.

Eventually they will.

All those guys from my youth who were bad to the bone are in jail or dead.

Some died in stolen cars in high school or college. Vic police got one in the back of the head.

Thats what i realized at 15. Eventually it catches up with you, your behavior dictates the circumstances you are in.

In other words: you asked for it.

Try to be happy instead.

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
