spec-l
Hi, I want to buy a harmonic balancer puller so I can do my rb26 timing belt. I'm looking for any recommendations for what people have used as I hear it can damn hard to get off!! Don't want to spend too much but needs to be good enough to get the job done! Any opinions would be appreciated, thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/440454-harmonic-balancer-puller-recommendations/ Share on other sites
Dose Pipe Sutututu
Looks like a crow feet with holes you can mount 2 bolts that attach to the pulley. You can borrow mine if you're in Sydney somewhere near Canley Vale Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/440454-harmonic-balancer-puller-recommendations/#findComment-7226644 Share on other sites

wedge_r34gtr
I bought mine at supercheap auto for ~$25. done the trick, but i needed to buy an additonal bolt (only came with two of the 3 bolts needed for the rb26). Don't forget your rb26 balance bolt needs to be done up VVFT - 450N.m when you put it back on. GOD12A
My Repco brand one has held up pretty well. A cheap one will just bend. Spend the extra $5-10 and get a branded one that'll last a lifetime of weekend use.
