I'm in a bit of a bind. I had a genuine T67-25g kit including stainless manifold and 48mm ext gate which I bought for a build up on an RB25DE+t which I intend to run on E85 using a Haltech PS2000. The T67 was stolen from my garage. So I have a manifold with a trust flange and no trust turbo. Given that new trust turbos are well outside my budget and 10cm exhaust housing second hand units seem to be extremely rare, I was looking down the tried and tested Kando (kinugawa) path.

Kinugawa only sell trust flanges in 8cm and 12cm exhaust housings. I'm fairly sure 8cm would be too restrictive for what i'm building but I note a few people have used the 12cm on RB30s. Am I crazy to consider buying one of these?

Really appreciate any advice at the moment as i'm really not turbo savvy.

Sad face :( no thoughts? I've seen some 350rwkw on E85 out of the 8cm housing from Trust, this is where I was aiming in power anyway so that is looking like better candidate than the 12cm now.

Well the high comp engine does not help with back pressure and heat. Using a large 25G comp with a small L2 turbine in a tinny 8cm housing is going to make your engine pin and significantly reduce the life of the turbocharger. If it has to be a Greddy style of a turbocharger I recommend the 25G with a TD06H turbine in a 10cm housing which you can get them separate and we can machine it to suit.

Alternatively you can use one of our .82 turbine ended SS2 in .70 comp as an high mount. which is very reliable and will produces excellent turbo response while make the same amount of power as to a 25G compressor.

    • thanks, will conduct myself accordingly. i unfortunately put about 150 miles on the car before reading this thread again, however no PS issues, and definitely no turbo issues. it spools normally and still feels fast to me, probably because my previous car was an N/A auto sedan...gonna go fix the PS vacuum line though lol. safe to say, got what i came to this thread for. thanks
    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
