Poor Fuel Economy (rb25de) - Help!

Might wanna also check your fuel cap. Mine started leaking and I lost 50km per tank thru evaporation. At least its simple to fix.

Thanks for the tip RiggaP - How can I tell if it is leaking, and where do I get a new one?

Cap seems to do up tight..

If you hear a "ssshhhh" sound when you undo the cap then it is fine. If you dont hear anything I would suspect a dodgy cap.

A more obvious way to tell (only if its really stuffed) is to stand next to the fuel cap while the car is idling and detect the scent of petrol with your shnoz.

Yep.. I hear that sound.. rubber looks all fine around it etc..

I think ill give the o2 sensor a change - gonna go down to ford soon to get the part!
