bendy roll cages,

bride seat mounts

hks pod filters

And those bendy roll cages pretty much dont meet our standards.....but add toughness to the ride in terms of looks only.

Hey meathead, do you have a shopping list of brand names down the sides of your doors? :)

So Chum brains instead of the personal insults how about proving us misguided bogans wrong with some proof or hard facts?

I can tell you now the "90mm" Apexi N1 exhaust on my dads GTR was a restriction swapped it out for a custom system gained 20kw EVERYWHERE & 200rpm of response was gained also.

My Evo 9 doesn't have a single Japanese aftermarket part on it.

Because as pretty as they look they dont produce the results unfortunately!

Could you guys take your pointless country-bashing out of my thread? It was created to determine what else was out there for my setup. Not a Jap/Aussie bashing session. Both countries make fantastic gear, and they also make a lot of lousy gear, it's not restricted to one and to think only one country makes the good stuff is, sorry to say, extremely narrow-minded. Take your "bogans"/"chum brains"/non-thread-related chatter to wasteland

For the purposes of concluding this thread, I went a 76.3mm/90mm tuned-length Racepace front pipe with a triple bolt flange at the cat-end to prevent the restriction - it's an absolute piece of art, sounds bloody amazing and worth every penny!

Settle down princess! You got your information and you chose an Australian product which is good & it also proves our point!

Old meat monger started the debate so what if ya thread gets stunk up a little you made your purchase!

Congratulations on the purchase , I have had Trust extension split dumps for the last 10 years.

They sound good and spool the turbos fast but for the best sound you cannot go past the tuned ones.

I knew that is what you were after in the beginning, but someone decided he knew what you wanted more than you did.

Couldn't help myself mate.

How much did you pay for those custom ones if you do not mind me asking?

Cheers

Mick_o, I have HPI dump pipes and a Tomei exhaust, it doesn't prove your point at all as you're busy slamming Japanese items whilst I happily run both Aussie and Jap items in my car ...

Cheers man; I'll shoot you a PM re cost in case Racepace prefer to keep costs off public forums

    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
