Hey guys,

I need some help finding some information. Alright, I'll be living in Tokyo for the next three years. I've been here for six months and I'm new to the skyline scene. I bought myself a R32 GTS-T 4 door and i'm in love.

My question is where to find New parts or skyline specific garages? Now i know of Up garages, autobacs and all those other chained owned stores. What I'm trying to find is new parts or garages that will supply me with what i'm looking for. I'm looking for Nismo owned parts to be more specific, but I'll go with any other racing brand in that spectrum like Apex'i, HKS, etc. Am I chasing a dream finding these parts? Anyhow, any information that the community can provide me will greatly be appreciated.

Thanks Mark for the link. I will also be enjoying myself here in Japan indeed.

As for the Nismo factory, I heard its just for show. You know one of those things to check out one time or two. They don't really sell car parts as much as souvenirs in their gift shop. But I might as well go check it out and see what I can find.

Thanks man.

Not only do they sell parts at the Nismo factory but they fit them as well. There is a huge workshop that is separated from the showroom by big glass windows so that you can see what is happening in the workshop while looking around the showroom.

just curiously, what is it costing you in registration and insurance for such an old car? everyone keeps talking about how cars become really uneconomical to keep the older they get, so some first hand account would be great!

    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
