  • 3 weeks later...

What a rip off buyers beware

I purchased this pump off him about 4 weeks and still haven't received it

He said might have been lost by auspost and got it returned and will post it back ASAP

A week later no pump and stopped replying to my messages as I wanted to get a tracking no this time round

His been online and I've asked him for tracking 3 times no reply so clearly he has ripped me off and didn't intend on posting it in the first place

So just beware not to waste you money and purchasing off this guy

I'm just going to purchase a new one save headaches and waste of time not worried about the money $90 down the drain but I waited almost a month now

Biggest scammer ever

since this comment things have been worked out. was returned to me as the post office couldnt deliver either due to my poor hand writing or no one at address,

since getting the fuel pump back i was more then happy to send again this time id have my mrs fill out the postage details but he has then said he doesnt care if i send it or not

either way i will be sending it again regardless of what he said as he has paid for it plan and simple.

not trying to scam anyone have sold alot of items on here i always try my hardest to make sure the items i send are safe and secure clearly i cant control all of aus post

^ could happen to anyone mate, thus these days I always print & stick my labels on :)

that way those numpties at AusPost can't screw it up!

I've had soo many dramas with aus post. I started writing everything in capital red letters on white paper. Seems to have worked ;)

What a big scammer and liar

Glad I purchased a new one on Monday received it wed

If he didn't intend on posting it why bother posting on here saying that you are going to post it and get your wife to do it full of shit

I know I posted I wasn't bothered about it but why would you lie about it to make yourself look innocent

It was Monday he said he will post it now it's Friday nothing and I'll already received my new one which I ordered the same day

Buyers beware that's all I'm going to say

Happy days got my new pump and hope no one has to deal with this scum

Doesn't take that long to receive stuff from Vic

I've gotten a spoiler from as and was here in 2 days std post

Not a week or 1 month

I don't care as I already got a replacement but am warning others and don't want other people to get ripped off

no one has had a problem with me before and ive sent a lot of items all around aus mate, been a member for a long time, think u need to tae ur adhd meds and calm the f**k down, as other members have commented it can happen to anyone

    • Yeah, it's getting like that, my daughter is coming over on Thursday to help me remove the bonnet so I can install the Carbuilders underbonnet stuff,  I might get her to give me a hand and remove the hardtop, maybe, because on really hot days the detachable hardtop helps the aircon keep the interior cool, the heat just punches straight through to rag top I also don't have enough hair for the "wind in the hair" experience, so there is that....LOL
    • Could be falling edge/rising edge is set wrong. Are you getting sync errors?
    • On BMWs what I do because I'm more confident that I can't instantly crush the pinch welds and do thousands of USD in chassis damage is use a set of rubber jacking pads designed to protect the chassis/plastic adapter and raise a corner of the car, place the aforementioned 2x12 inch wooden planks under a tire, drop the car, then this normally gives me enough clearance to get to the front central jack point. If you don't need it to be a ramp it only needs to be 1-1.5 feet long. On my R33 I do not trust the pinch welds to tolerate any of this so I drive up on the ramps. Before then when I had to get a new floor jack that no longer cleared the front lip I removed it to get enough clearance to put the jack under it. Once you're on the ramps once you simply never let the car down to the ground. It lives on the ramps or on jack stands.
    • Nah. You need 2x taps for anything that you cannot pass the tap all the way through. And even then, there's a point in response to the above which I will come back to. The 2x taps are 1x tapered for starting, and 1x plug tap for working to the bottom of blind holes. That block's port is effectively a blind hole from the perspective of the tap. The tapered tap/tapered thread response. You don't ever leave a female hole tapered. They are supposed to be parallel, hence the wide section of a tapered tap being parallel, the existince of plug taps, etc. The male is tapered so that it will eventually get too fat for the female thread, and yes, there is some risk if the tapped length of the female hole doesn't offer enough threads, that it will not lock up very nicely. But you can always buzz off the extra length on the male thread, and the tape is very good at adding bulk to the joint.
    • Nice....looking forward to that update
