I just called. Farking message bank again.

I'll call again later. Does David actually have any friends on this forum (like people who actually know him face to face)? If so, you should be lighting a fire under him, to get him to face his debts and pay us back.

Guys I know this doesn't help those who are still waiting for their goods but I thought I would let you know that I have found Nissan Blackburn fairly cheap for Nismo stuff.

I just bought a blank GTR Key from Nissan Blackburn for $54 AUD. I remember also buying a front GTR Badge a while ago for approx $40 AUD. So for future purchases might be good to shop around first.

Good luck with your goods.

Dave answered one of my calls yesterday. He said that he has my details etc and will be sending me the money by the end of next week. In a way I feel kinda sorry for the guy cause it's seems plausible that something did go wrong with the deal BUT all he had to do was post up on here (or reply to emails) that he had been screwed and would be returning our money as soon as possible and none of the dave bashing in this thread would have happend. That's what really pissed me off. Instead of being a man and facing up to the fact that he lost the money and was going to have to pay us back he has avoided us all like a coward. not cool. Anyway, I didn' t abuse him or anything I just said "just give me a date when you expect the money order to be on it's way to me" he did, so now I just have to wait and see if he keeps his word.

mmmgtir: i agree, if something did go wrong he should of just been honest with us all, and we could of sorted it out, but by just disapearing it just makes him look guilty....

I've been trying to call but still no luck. hopefully he has my details as well, but i'll still keep trying.

He sent me a msg back!

Also gave me a date when he cud transfer the money back. I feel sorry for him too ;)

He had a big problem with the supplier and had to wait for the money to come back, if it does..

Yeah I can empathise with the guy but he has acted very poorly. He is yet to post on here and give even a vauge explanation of what happend.

I'm still waiting on that money order...

Richard

left a message on his mobile yesterday, he called me back this morning, was very apologetic, said he has already go a money order for me he is mailing off, explained he got stuffed around by his supplier but found out this morning that the left over goods have been mailed and he has a tracking number for them. He said he's happy to refund the money and will just ebay the stuff he gets in the mail to make up the money.

Funnily enough I still haven't received my money order. I hate having to chase people up. What a pain. Has anyone else received theirs yet?

Richard

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
    • Welcome! New member myself, but I had an R33 back in 2002. Best advice I could give, based on my experience: if you're running the factory turbo, be very conservative with boost. I made the mistake of just fiddling around with the boost controller and cranking the boost for fun, and the end result was my intake pipes popping off frequently from the constant deluge of oil that was being blown into the recirc by the stressed-out turbo, which itself was siphoning oil from the engine and farting it out both sides of its centre bearing (or something to that effect). If I could do it all again, I would have gotten a new turbo and had a tune dialled in professionally and then just left it alone! Funny you mention the metal shavings in the gearbox, as I had the same thing - the probe plug (magnetic drain plug, essentially) would come out caked with shavings. At least it was doing its job. Not sure if that's just sacrificial wear and part of the deal, or if my gearbox was shagged, but I wasn't abusing it. Enjoy the R33 - they're a dying breed, and if they weren't $35k+ on CarSales in Queensland, I might have picked up one of those again, instead of the 370GT I own now (though I'm loving the 370GT, that big 3.7L V6 just hits different).
    • Howdy folks. I owned an R33 back in 2002, which was thoroughly beyond my capacity (financially speaking) to maintain/insure, so we parted ways in 2004. Fast forward 21 years (to literally yesterday, in fact) and I'm now the proud owner of a 2007 V36 370GT. I'm happily surprised by how much power the VQ37VHR makes, compared to the RB25DET, considering the latter is turbocharged. I had planned to add a turbo at some point but I'm on the fence about whether I'll even need it (though I do love the sudden onset of extra torque). Any other 370GT owners around the traps, I'd love to hear about your experiences with this car (good and bad).
    • Perhaps the answer is... more jacks!* *proper jacks must be used.
    • I NEVER think about using a scissor jack unless there is absolutely no other alternative. f**king things are dangerous, annoying and stupid.
